Jake began his career as a Trainee Engineer at just 18 and has since built nine years of experience across both civil and track engineering, achieving a range of technical and management qualifications along the way.

Throughout his career, Jake has held engineering roles with major construction contractors across Wales, Wessex, and the Western region, playing a key part in the delivery of complex infrastructure projects. His experience includes switches and crossings junction remodelling schemes and large reinforced concrete bridge installations on high-profile rail programmes.

Now serving as Lead Engineer and Track Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE) at KGJ Price Railway Contractors, Jake leads the engineering division and oversees all technical deliverables across Survey, Design, Installation, and Monitoring activities. His role ensures every project is engineered safely, compliantly, and to the highest technical standard.

With a strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement, Jake plays a pivotal role in strengthening KGJ Price’s engineering capability while supporting the development of future rail professionals.
