Project Background

KGJ Price Railway Contractors were contacted by the client outlining a critical failure occurring on the local rail infrastructure.

Faced with a 12-week lead time from their existing supply chain and an inevitable closure of an arterial route into Cardiff city centre, KGJ Price Railway Contractors were able to design, manufacture and be ready to install the replacement in less than ten days.

The key deliverables for this project were as follows: Timely manufacture and delivery. Attendance at planning and integration meetings, on site delivery and installation working under a 36-hour blockade, supply of specialist supervision and PTS operatives to undertake loose lay build up of the unit as well as installation.
