UK Rail Track Manufacturer, Installer & Repairs
Jack joined KGJ Price Railway Contractors in July 2025 as a Civil Engineering Apprentice and is currently in his final year of a Level 3 Civil Engineering qualification. His studies have given him a strong technical foundation across the built environment, including construction methods, health and safety, surveying, structural systems, and cost management.
During college, Jack has worked extensively with CAD and Revit, producing scale drawings, 3D models, and client briefs for a range of projects. He has also completed building surveys, defect identification, quantity take-offs, and project planning, developing a well-rounded understanding of the construction process.
Since joining KGJ Price, Jack has spent time in the workshop learning company standards before progressing onto site. He has achieved his Personal Track Safety (PTS) and Slinging and Signalling qualifications and has supported live rail projects at locations including Margam, Whatley Quarry, Burton-on-Trent, and Llanelli. Alongside this, Jack is completing his NVQ, building practical, on-site experience in rail engineering delivery.
Enthusiastic and driven, Jack is committed to learning and building a long-term career within civil and rail engineering.
